About

I'm a multi-certified balanced dog trainer with a passion for dog behavior, rescue, and helping families build real, lasting relationships with their dogs.

I use a LIMA (Least Intrusive Method Available) approach, backed by years of continuing education and hands-on experience with thousands of dogs of all breeds, backgrounds, and behavior challenges.

What I Do

I specialize in Advanced K9 Obedience and Service Dog Training, but my services cover the full spectrum — from basic house manners to reactivity, confidence building, crate training, separation anxiety, therapy dog prep, and everything in between.

"Bring advanced obedience and dog education to families, rescues, and shelters at an affordable cost — keeping dogs in their forever homes, or helping them find one."

I don't just train your dog. I teach you how to train your dog — so you become a team.

Ziva David

My Dogs

Ziva David — 16 y/o GSD/Malamute/X
(Two DNA tests in and that "X" is still a mystery — and we're okay with that.)

Named after the Tel Aviv operative from NCIS — if you know, you know. Ziva was my first Service Dog and spent over 7 years as a 911 Call Center Therapy Dog for Bell County Communications Center. She also visited schools to educate kids on safe dog interactions and working K9s. These days she's fully retired, cuddling at home with her little brother — and she's earned every bit of it.

Dante Allen

Dante Allen — 5 y/o Belgian Malinois

Dante is my multi-purpose Service Dog, 911 Call Center therapy canine, frisbee fanatic, and permanent shadow. He's present at every consult and training session as a demo dog, and has unofficially become "Uncle Dante" to 30+ dogs and puppies.

He was hand-selected from 140 potential puppies, trained in 3 languages, and was one of the last dogs imported across the border the night COVID shut down the country. He loves travel, beaches, bouncy balls, and his dad.

How I Got Started

It started with Jazzy, my first German Shepherd. Then came King — a Husky/GSD I rescued from a neighbor who was mistreating him. What worked for Jazzy didn't work for King, and that difference sparked a deeper curiosity about how dogs actually think and learn.

After a brief stint at a large box store — which wasn't the right fit — I branched out on my own, eventually relocating from Waco to Belton. Over 10+ years, I've trained, boarded, and cared for thousands of dogs (and yes, some ferrets, hamsters, and cats too).

Jazzy and King have both since passed, but their impact on who I am as a trainer, pet parent, and person is something I carry with me every day.

My Kind of People

My dogs are a huge part of my life — and I don't apologize for it. I travel with them, hike and swim with them, and they've been known to claim both the front seat and the pillow.

I fully believe in doing more with your dog — but I meet every client exactly where they are.

If you joke that you gave birth to your dog, you're in the right place.
If you threaten to sell your dog to the Amish for a potato chip every other hour — you're still in the right place.

Whether you hunt, hike, swim, or just couch potato together — let's connect.
